"Cruzne1" Gary & Audrey's PT
Bought my 2003 PT Cruiser GT in 3/03 from Bobilya Chrysler in Coldwater
Michigan. It was then transported to Freedom Motors Inc. in Battle Creek,
Michigan for wheelchair mods. A six inch drop floor on the passenger side.
Front door swings open then the rear door swings up,(gull wing style)
then a ramp unfolds for wheelchair entry or exit, all by remote or inside
switch. It was then trucked to Mobility Systems in Emeryville, Ca. on
6/03. for hand controls, spinner knob on steering wheel, repositioned
stick shift, and transfer seat base. Finally took delivery of my PT on
7/3.
Under car mods: F&R sway bars from Ca. Cruisers, Koni adjustable struts/shocks
F&R,cat back exhaust from BTG, to dual 4" megaphone tips, Bridgestone
RE750 tires, size 225/40x18F & 245/40x18R, on Boyd Coddington Smoothie
II's size 18x8F&R, Air Ride Technology Airbags installed on rear only.
Exterior: Keystone Dual Scoop Hood (functional), Pteaser Bumperette Fascia
w/full grill, Pteaser Retro Rear Rollpan, Chrysler rear spoiler, painted
outside mirrors, painted taillights, tinted front windows to match the
rear, Sylvania Silver Star bulbs for the driving & fog lights, electric
antenna from Moss Motors.
Interior: triple gauge pillar pod with Autometer Vac/Boost, Oil pressure,
& Water temp.,Air ride gauge cluster mounted under traction control
switch.
Under hood: Airaid cold air intake, AMX1397 turbo to intake pipe, BTG
strut tower brace, hood struts from Moss motors.
